Scope

Rama OS lets customers upload and publish content, including business logos, product photography, website media, and font files, and lets them generate product imagery from prompts and reference images they supply. Customers are responsible for holding the rights to what they upload or generate. If you believe content published through Rama OS infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, use the process below.

Designated agent

Send copyright notices to our designated agent:

[Agent name — pending]
Maya Coffee Company LLC
[Street address — pending], Hammond, Indiana [ZIP — pending]
help@ramaops.com (interim notice address)
[Telephone — pending]

Our designation with the U.S. Copyright Office is being completed. Until that registration is on file, notices sent to the address above are received, logged, and acted on under the procedure below, and we will confirm receipt in writing.

What a notice must include

To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include substantially all of the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it — a URL is best.
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

An incomplete notice may delay our response. If your notice is missing something required, we will tell you what is missing rather than ignore it.

What we do when we receive a notice

On receipt of a notice that substantially complies with the requirements above, we remove or disable access to the identified material within [response window — pending], notify the customer who published it, and provide them a copy of the notice. Removal is not a finding that infringement occurred; it is the step the statute contemplates while the parties sort out the claim. We keep a record of notices, our response, and any counter-notice.

Counter-notice

If you are the customer whose material was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, you may send a counter-notice meeting the requirements of 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3): your signature; identification of the material and where it appeared before removal; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the United States, for any district in which we may be found) and to accept service of process from the person who sent the notice.

We forward a valid counter-notice to the person who sent the original notice. Unless they notify us that they have filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the allegedly infringing activity, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days.

Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of customers who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(i). What counts as a repeat infringement and the process leading to termination are described in the applicable agreement; termination of an account is separate from removal of a single item.

Misrepresentation

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), a person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Consider whether the use is authorized or is a fair use before sending a notice.
